Abstract [sv]

Arbetet grundar sig i att analysera de elektromagnetiska störningarna som orsakas av Buck-omvandlaren, och sedan minimera de.

Först gjordes en litteraturstudie för att kunna få en djupare förståelse kring de elektromagnetiska störningarna, och hur de kan reduceras. All litteraturstudie har haft en direkt koppling till de praktiska momenten. Sedan utgjordes mätningar för att kunna identifiera beteendemönster hos de elektromagnetiska störningarna. Genom att separera det elektromagnetiska fältet och enbart analysera det elektriska- och det magnetiska fältet för sig kunde utförliga åtgärder att göras för att minimera de elektromagnetiska störningarna.

Då syftet med arbetet var att analysera och minimera störningarna krävdes det att implementera diverse avskärmningsmetoder. Den slutliga avskärmningen som konstruerades visade sig vara mycket effektiv för att dämpa elektromagnetiska störningarna i båda fälten, vilket kan tolkas i resultatet. 

Abstract [en]

The work is based on analyzing the electromagnetic interference caused by the Buck converter and then minimizing the interference.

A literature study was first done to gain a deeper understanding of electromagnetic interference, and how they can be reduced. The literature study that was done had a direct connection to the practical aspects of this project. Measurements were then made to identify behavioral patterns of the electromagnetic interference. By separating the electromagnetic field and analyzing the electric- and the magnetic field separately, detailed measures could then be taken to reduce electromagnetic interference which was caused by the Buck converter.

Since the purpose of the work was to analyze and minimize the interference, it was necessary to implement various shielding methods. The final construction of the shielding proved to be very effective in suppressing the electromagnetic interference in both the electric- and the magnetic field, which can be interpreted in the results.
