What Increases the Chances of Getting a Job (English)
Abstract [en]

This study explores how an optimized LinkedIn profile, a well-structured digital portfolio, and practical experience are perceived and valued as factors for employment in the IT and design sectors – by recent graduates and professionals. Using a survey and document analysis, students perceptions are compared to actual employer requirements. The results highlight the importance of digital presence and practical experience but reveal a gap between awareness and execution.

The study emphasizes the need for educational institutions to strengthen connections with the labor market and provide students with better support in developing digital presence and practical skills.
