Sweden, renowned for its advanced digital infrastructure and innovation-friendly environment, provides an ideal setting for studying the integration of digital Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). Small new ventures, which are pivotal to Sweden's economy, drive innovation and employment. This thesis, guided by the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), investigates the impact of key drivers on the adoption and continuance of digital WIL programs among these ventures.

Employing a quantitative approach, the study gathers comprehensive data to analyze how key factors such as Perceived Risk, Trust, Social Influences, and Performance Expectancy along with other factors affect the adoption and continuance of digital WIL. The findings highlight the importance of aligning digital WIL initiatives with strategic business goals to enhance participant engagement. This study contributes to the theoretical understanding of technology adoption and provides practical insights for Swedish small ventures aiming to leverage digital learning effectively.
