Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

As the Corona pandemic was still prevalent during the study, we considered it relevant to conduct a study on the subject. Our view was that the implementation of telework has affected above all employees who normally have office-based work.

The purpose of our qualitative study was to find out how workers with different professional titles experience telework.

To answer the study's purpose and question, semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven respondents from different industries. The respondents were four women and three men. Based on the transcripts in the study, a thematic analysis was performed. The themes that emerged were communication, social factors, flexibility, changed thinking about working methods, work environment and gains in private life.

The conclusion of the study was that the majority of employees have similar experiences of telework despite different occupations. Another conclusion was that most of the employees had positive experiences of telework despite major work changes.
