This study explores collaborative practices within a multistakeholder environment. The analysis focuses on two organisations, referred to as hubs, which connect partners from various sectors by providing networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities. A three “Cs” analytical framework was used for this study, and four interviews with hub representatives were conducted, offering valuable insights into Multiple Helix collaboration. Emphasis was placed on the knowledge transfer between the hubs and their stakeholders, highlighting its relevance to the field of work-integrated learning. The analysis revealed many similarities and differences in multistakeholder relations in both cases. This thesis ultimately illustrates the complexity of collaborative processes in an environment where numerous stakeholders from different sectors interact. However, it advocates for further exploration of Multiple Helix collaboration due to its significant impact on generating new knowledge and facilitating sustainable solutions for emerging problems in rural areas in a European context.
