    Bakgrund: Digitaliseringen i samhället har även letat sig in i skolan i form av de styrdokument som skolan ska arbeta utifrån. Revideringen av läroplanen år 2017 medförde att skolansuppdrag i att stärka elevernas digitala kompetens förtydligades. Förändringarna skedde i läroplanens första och andra del där bland annat eleverna genom utbildning skulle få förutsättningarna för att utveckla digital kompetens. Detta förtydligande av digitalisering påverkade även fritidshemmet som skulle tillämpa kapitel ett och två i Skolverket (2018).

    Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka inställningen hos fritidshemmets personal, om undervisning i digitala verktyg och läroplanens uppdrag om digitaliseringen samt upplevda digitala kompetens. Med stöd av syftet formulerar vi fyra frågeställningar: I vilken utsträckning undervisar fritidshemmens personal eleverna i digitala verktyg? Hur ställer sig fritidshemmens personal till uppdraget i läroplanen angående att undervisa i digitala verktyg? Hur påverkas fritidspersonalens inställning till uppdraget av deras utbildning? Hur upplever fritidshemmens personal sin egen digitala kompetens?

    Metod: En webbaserad enkätundersökning var genomförd med hjälp av Google Formulär där 79 enkäter samlades in. Datan fördes sedan med hjälp av Excel in i SPSS som är ett statistiskt analysverktyg. Genom vår analys i SPSS fick vi fram en deskriptiv tabell samt utförde en korrelationsanalys. Resultatet diskuterades även i relation till styrdokument, rapporter och tidigare forskning.

    Resultat: Resultatet visar att alla respondenterna ser positivt på sin egen digitala kompetens. Respondenterna ställer sig också positiva till påståenden angående läroplanens innehåll kring undervisning i digitala verktyg. Vi ser även utifrån vår korrelationsanalys att fritidspersonalens upplevda digitala kompetens har en inverkan på i vilken utsträckning de planerar och undervisar i digitala verktyg.

    Ensamkommande barn har blivit ett känt begrepp i Sverige under de senaste åren, ett resultat av krig och förtryck runt om i världen. Flykten från sitt hemland, separation från sina familjer, minnen från krig och traumatiska upplevelser utgör faktorer vilket kategoriserar ensamkommande barn som en riskgrupp i samhället för utvecklandet av psykisk ohälsa. Samtidigt som prognoser tyder på att antalet ensamkommande barn som söker asyl minskar behöver man nu förhålla sig till det betydande antal ensamkommande barn som anlänt till Sverige för att stanna. Forskningsläget idag tyder på att kunskapen gällande målgruppen ytterligare behöver fördjupas och framför allt konkretiseras genom att undersöka hur dessa barn förhåller sig till och navigerar i sin nya kontext.

     Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur ensamkommande barn upplever samt förhåller sig till religion i Sverige. Genom tillämpningen av en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer eftersöks en djupare förståelse av vilken roll religionen spelar i deras liv och hur denna påverkar deras vardag. Studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt är det sociokulturella perspektivet, interkulturalitet, reflexivitet samt copingteori. Det material som framkommit under intervjuerna har analyserats utifrån ovan nämnda teoretiska perspektiv och tidigare forskning med hjälp av tematisk analys.   Resultatet visar att religionen är en vital aspekt i barnens liv. Genom ett aktivt och medvetet agerande vidhåller barnen en kontinuitet i sina liv via bland annat sin religiösa tro och praxis. Religionen används även som en källa till gemenskap, tillhörighet och vägledning i en annars beskriven ny och okänd kontext där det är svårt att finna sin plats. Vidare så belyser studien att religion i Sverige uppfattas som stundom negativ i sociala sammanhang samtidigt som man upplever en acceptans och respekt kopplat till religiös mångfald. Samhällets upplevda syn på religion utgör även en faktor som barnen reflekterar över och sedan aktivt implementerar i sin religiösa praxis genom olika strategier.

    Background: In Sweden 120 000 infants are born each year, 5% of these are premature born. More infants survive because of the development in perinatal care, which leads to more infants being treated in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Therefore, new research is necessary. During the last decades NICU has developed a more family-centered care, which encourage parents to become involved in the care of their infant. Nurses have an essential role to involve parents in the care of their infant.

    Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate parents’ experiences of what is effecting their participation in the care of their premature born infant.

    Method: A qualitative literature-based study has been conducted, which involves analysis of 11 qualitative articles.

    Results: The results are five categories, "Being close to the infant", "A feeling of support", "Being lost", "Staff doesn’t meet the parents’ needs" and "Being separated from the infant".

    Conclusion: Parents experienced a lot of feelings during their stay in the NICU. Nurse’s reception is a determinant part in parents’ participation. If nurses take a step back and let parents care for their infant it will encourage their participation. This requires that nurses have offered support to parents in their way to become more familiar with the infant.

    Background HIV has developed to a global pandemic and millions of people are living with HIV or AIDS today. People living with HIV still face stigmatization and discrimination in their lives. Aim The aim of this study was to describe people´s experiences of living with HIV. Method A method to contribute to evidence-based nursing based on analysis of qualitative research was used in this study to deepen understanding. Ten articles were analysed. Results Three themes were identified: ”Manage a new life situation”, ”An emotionally turbulent living” and ” Not be treated than others” with subthemes. People living with HIV used many different strategies to handle their new life situation, for example church, to tell or not tell about their HIV-status and isolate themselves from others. Their new life situation was turbulent due to many emotions including fear for the death, shame, guilt and loneliness. Lack of knowledge contributed to the fact that health care staff offended people living with HIV by distancing themselves from these persons, using excessive precautions, breach of confidentiality and categorized them with stereotypes linked to HIV. Conclusion People with HIV experience many types of discrimination and stigmatization like denied care and health care staff keeping away from them. This leads to unwillingness among people with HIV to seek care and seems to create double suffering for them. In order to overlook their prejudices and work for good nursing, nurses need to develop their knowledge about HIV and be aware about their prejudices and treat everybody the same regardless of diagnosis.

    Våren 2016 startade Anna Wilner på NU-biblioteket, NU-sjukvården (innefattar Näloch Uddevalla sjukhus), och jag, Jessica Thorn, biblioteket Högskolan Väst, upp ett projekt där vi ville undersöka om pedagogisk samverkan mellan våra verksamheter underlättar för nyexaminerade sjuksköterskor att fortsätta söka evidensbaserad kunskap i sin kliniska vardag. I högskolelagen står att studenter ska lära sig söka och värdera kunskap på vetenskaplig nivå. När sjuksköterskorna kommer ut i arbetslivet har de en arbetsbeskrivning som säger att de ska arbeta utifrån en evidensbaserad vård, dvs en vård baserad på vetenskap och beprövad erfarenhet. Detta samt en önskan att utveckla våra pedagogiska metoder ledde till frågorna:Har den samverkan mellan högskolebibliotek och sjukhusbibliotek vi genomfört underlättat sjuksköterskornas sökning efter evidens när de kommer ut i arbetslivet? Vi har följt en kull sjuksköterskestudenter under utbildningen samt ett halvår efter avslutad utbildning. Studenterna har under sin utbildning, på ett mer uttalat sätt än tidigare, getts information kring NU-biblioteket och de resurser som erbjuds där under studietidens gång. I fokus har frågor kring evidensbaserad informationssökning stått. Vi har genomfört fokusgrupper, intervjuer och enkäter med studenterna vid olika tillfällen under och efter utbildningen. Som kontrollgrupp har kullen terminen före undersökningsgruppen använts. Vårt samarbete har inte på ett tydligt sätt påverkat de nyexaminerade sjuksköterskornas informationssökning. De inser vikten av att hålla sig uppdaterade med ny forskning, men organisatoriska utmaningar påverkar. Tidsbrist och att individen är ny på jobbet är de stora hindren. De nyexaminerade sjuksköterskorna faller snabbt in i den kultur som råder på arbetsplatsen. De nyvunna kunskaperna om varandras biblioteksverksamheter har lett till många vinster för oss som bibliotekarier. Vårt samarbete ger mervärde på flera nivåer. Vi kan bättre stötta våra gemensamma användare, både studenter och yrkesaktiva sjuksköterskor då vi har kunskap om varandra

    Companies who reports according to IFRS has since year 2005 been able to choose if they would like to evaluate their investment properties to the initial cost or to fair value. The se-quence of this was a far- reaching debate of how fair value evaluation affects the reports reli-ability and relevance. There are a number of different methods to use at valuation of proper-ties and those different methods demands a various amount of variables. I became interested in studying how companies who hold investment properties and has chosen to evaluate them to fair value reports this in their annual report. If the method they chosen is clarified in the report and if the variables in the chosen method is explained in a thorough way.

    To study this a selection of seven Swedish real estate companies has been chosen and their annual reports of the year 2006 and 2014 has been audited, which means that the study com-prises a total of 14 annual reports. Those reports have been audited in three different aspects to gain a greater understanding of how companies report their investment properties to fair value. The three different aspects are which evaluation method that has been used, an own constructed coding scheme with a number of important information that should be in the an-nual report and if some parts or phrases in the annual report is repeated in year 2006 and 2014.

    The result of the study shows that all of the audited companies could improve their report of how they evaluated their investment properties. All the companies did clearly show which evaluation method they have been using but what kind of variables the method were built on were not clear in all the cases. Even the companies who clarified which variables they count-ed with had not written the exact numbers they used so a verification of the evaluation, using only the information in the annual report, are not possible to do afterwards. Not even the de-mand on information that actually exists has been met by all the companies. All the compa-nies would benefit by updating their report of how they evaluated their investment properties.

    Abstract [en]

    Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world and it usually affects elderly women. However, there are between 600-700 cases per year in Sweden where women under the age of 45 are diagnosed. Removal of the breast or part of the breast, hair loss, fatigue and nausea as a result of the breast cancer treatment has an emotional and physical impact on the women’s lifeworld. The nurse should build a relationship with the women to identify and meet their needs. 

    Aim: To describe younger women’s experiences of getting a breast cancer diagnosis and life afterwards.

    Method: Four biographical books were analyzed to match the aim of the study.

    Result: The findings were that the women experience similar thoughts and feelings when it comes to living with a cancer diagnosis. Feelings such as fear, anger and distress were expressed in the biographies. To be able to fight against the disease the women highlighted the importance of support from family members and the medical staff.

    Conclusion: The women’s describes both physical and mental changes due to treatment, a strong influence on the woman’s lifeworld. It is therefore important that the nurse support, comfort and assist the patient during the entire course of the disease. It might help the woman to find bright spots in life and maintain hope for the future.

    Dimensionality and Predictive validity of school grades: the relative influence of cognitive and social-behavioral aspects2014Doctoral thesis, comprehensive summary (Other academic)
    Abstract [en]

    The purpose of the thesis is to investigate the relative influence of cognitive and social-behavioral aspects on compulsory school grades and the importance of the different dimensions for the predictive validity of grades. Data is retrieved from the Gothenburg Educational Longitudinal Database (GOLD) and the Evaluation Through Follow-up (ETF) database. The sample in Study I consisted of three cohorts each of about 100 000 students in Grade 9, in Study II of about 4000 students in Grade 9, and in Study III of about 9000 students who were followed-up through compulsory school. All analyses were conducted using structural equation modelling (SEM). Both criterion-referenced and norm-referenced compulsory school grades were found to be multidimensional, reflecting both subject-specific dimensions and a common-grade dimension, cutting across grades and teachers. The common-grade dimension, which in previous research has been found to be related to social-behavioral aspects, contributed to predict study success in upper secondary school, indicating that social-behavioral aspects partly contribute to explain the predictive power of school grades. The influence of cognitive aspects was substantial. Fluid abilities had a continuous direct influence on the development of knowledge and skills throughout compulsory school, which is in line with the predictions from Cattell's (1987) Investment theory. Substantial indirect effects of fluid abilities on school grades were found, although no direct effects. In sum the results in the present thesis show that both cognitive and social-behavioral aspects contribute to explain the predictive validity of school grades.

    Irrespective of the grading system, grades are the most valid instrument for predicting educational success. Previous studies have shown that criterion-referenced compulsory school grades are multidimensional, reflecting subject-specific dimensions and a common grade dimension, both of which contribute to the predictive validity of grades. This suggests that in addition to knowledge and skills, grades reflect other aspects which might have importance for the prediction of educational success. The purpose of this study was to investigate, using structured equation modeling, whether norm-referenced compulsory school grades display similar patterns of dimensionality and predictive validity to criterion-referenced grades. Possible differences due to gender and parents’ education were considered. Participants were 3855 students born in 1972. The results showed that norm-referenced grades are multidimensional, and that both the subject-specific and common grade dimensions contribute to predicting educational success. In the common grade dimension, girls and students with higher educational backgrounds were favored.

    Research has found that grades are the most valid instruments for predicting educational success. Why grades have better predictive validity than, for example, standardized tests is not yet fully understood. One possible explanation is that grades reflect not only subject-specific knowledge and skills but also individual differences in other aspects. The purpose was to investigate the relative importance of knowledge and skills and other aspects encapsulated in grades for the predictive validity of compulsory school grades for educational success in upper secondary school. Structural equation modelling was used. Participants were 9th-grade students from 3 birth cohorts, each comprising full populations of approximately 100,000 students. The results showed that the subject-specific factors and an additional common grade factor contributed to the predictive validity. Effects of gender and parents' education were found in the common grade factor, with girls and students with a lower educational background being advantaged.

    The Investment theory (Cattell, 1987) states that learning in different fields is dependent on a general ability to reason in novel situations (Gf), and that development of knowledge and skill therefore is influenced by Gf, among other things. The Encapsulation theory (Gustafsson & Carlstedt,2006) makes the inference that Gf is encapsulated in measures of General Crystallized intelligence(Gc) and that information about Gf therefore does not add to prediction of further learning. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of Gf and Gc on knowledge acquisition indifferent subjects in school. In all 9002 individuals from the Evaluation Through Follow-up longitudinal database were included. A path model was fitted to measures of Gf and Gc. Results showed that Gf had influence on measures of early and late Gc. However, there were no additional effects of Gf on subject grades, which was interpreted as providing partial support for the Encapsulation theory.

    Background Cattell’s Gf–Gc distinction is quite generally recognized. However, the developmental part of the Gf–Gc theory of intelligence has not gained the same recognition. Results are inconsistent, but recent discussions emphasize the importance of homogeneity of samples with regard to education and language when investigating the developmental Investment theory. Aims The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of Gf and Gc on the development of knowledge and skills in a sample of children in compulsory school who are homogenous with regard to level of education, age, and cultural background. Sample Totally, 9,002 individuals from the evaluation through follow-up database born in 1972 and who left compulsory school in 1988 were included. These individuals were followed up in Grades 3, 6, and 9. Methods Structural equation modelling was used, and autoregressive path models were fitted. All modelling was performed using Mplus version 6.1. Results In the first step, a path model with a simplex structure was defined. However, a second model with direct relations of Gf on Gc in Grades 6 and 9 had better model fit, suggesting a continuous influence of Gf on Gc. However, no direct influence of Gf was found for the subject grades. Conclusion Due to the continuous influence of Gf on the measures of Gc throughout compulsory school, support for Cattell’s (1987) Investment theory was found.

    Abstract [en]

    In Dörnyei's (2009a) theorizing, motivation is conceptualized to be generated by discomfort associated with the learner's experience of a discrepancy between their current L2 self, and their ideal L2 self. However, in the L2 Motivational Self System, this discrepancy is not operationalized. A questionnaire containing measures of current L2 selves was administered to two cohorts of students learning English in Sweden, one in grade 7, and one in grade 9. Using structural equation modelling, results revealed that the discrepancy between the ideal L2 self and the current L2 selfwas greater for the grade 7 cohort. So too was the impact on a criterion variable measuring intended effort. Arguments for the operationalization of the selfdiscrepancy process in research designs are put forward. In studies tracking changes over time, it is suggested that the inclusion of a variable measuring the current L2self could provide important insights into self-discrepancy trajectories, facilitate the investigation of motivational dynamics, and bring greater sensitivity to intervention design.

    Abstract [en]

    Background: Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a growing disease that affects both adults and children. Common risk factors for developing diabetes type 2 are low physical activity and abdominal obesity. The disease can bring complications such as cardiovascular disease and hypoglycemia. Pre-diabetes is a pre-stage to develop diabetes mellitus type 2. However, lifestyle changes can prevent the progress of diabetes mellitus type 2. In order to make the lifestyle changes that are required, motivation is of great importance.

    Aim: The aim of this study was to describe experiences of furtherance and inhibitive motivational factors to lifestyle changes among persons with pre-diabetes and diabetes mellitus type 2.

    Method: The method used was a literature study based on qualitative research. The articles in the study were analyzed accordingly to Friberg's five step model and resulted in three themes and eight sub-themes.

    Results: The themes were; an internal motivating force, support from the surrounding as a motivational factor and inner and outer barriers that inhibit for the motivation. In order to support and motivate persons with pre-diabetes and diabetes mellitus type 2 the nurse must understand what it is that helps persons find the motivation to make lifestyle changes.

    Conclusion: Promoting and inhibiting motivational factors for lifestyle changes varies from person to person.

    The number of young women who self-mutilate in different ways has increased dramatically in recent years. Self-mutilation is a way of trying to feel better for the moment. People who self-mutilate often have some other underlying illness such as borderline disease. Women are overrepresented in this group of people and their behaviour is often rooted in a history of childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and psychic maltreatment. The aim of this study is to reveal thoughts about the future among young women who self-mutilate. There are few documented reports in this area. Most of the documented reports are about behaviour. In this study seven young women with a history of self-mutilation described their thoughts in a diary about the future. The results revealed that many of their thoughts about the future concerned their future relationships and related concerns. Even their future education and work is important. There were major concerns about their future and whether they could live an independent life.

    Vobbla Racing is a racing team who has an online sales department that is in need of an upgrade to be more efficient and easier to use. Before this study their present homepage was anything but structured. The products were sorted in an illogical order which made it difficult for the customer to find a wanted product. The customer had to summarize the products, transport sums and other costs. The order had to be e-mailed or phoned in to Vobbla Racing Produkter. As new products arrived to the assortment a structured control of the warehouse was difficult to achieve. By creating a web shop and an online inventory system it will be more efficient and easier to use both for employee and costumer. An administrator shall by an administrator site handle the product-, order-, and menu information. The customer shall easily navigate through the product pages and add wanted products to the shopping cart. The customer shall also be able to register as a member of Vobbla Racing Produkter to easier place an order and to get information such as previous orders. We made an analysis of Vobbla Racing\2019s present sales procedure and their wanted situation which showed areas in their activities that were in need of efficiency. A survey was made for us to get a brief overview of how a web shop is build. It helped us to get an understanding in our planning of the web structure. The web shop is build with ASP that works against a database to get and store information. The products in the shopping cart are stored in a cookie so that the database and web shop doesn't get overloaded. The shopping cart is always available for the customer to give an overview of his products. Vobbla Racing Produkter is happy with the result. We created the critical parts for the shopping and inventory, but not everything we had hoped for.

    Abstract [en]

    The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there was any connection between personality dimensions according to the Big Five and college students Facebook use. The study also examines what the relationship looks like between the various personality dimensions. This study was a quantitative study in questionnaire form Students at University West participated in the study. The conclusion of the study was that there was a significant positive correlation between one personality dimension and Facebook usage, and that this was between Extraversion and number of friends. Most people showed high Agreeableness and the personality dimensions that correlated most strongly were Extraversion and Neuroticism, where individuals with higher values on one of the dimensions tend to score lower on the other dimension.

    Abstract [en]

    The study examaines changes in a native Malaysian’s pronunciation of word stress, vowel length and consonant clusters before and after she was tranined. Jeong & Thorén (under review) showed that this training made the speaker’s pronunciation more intelligible to native Swedish listeners. We look at the changes on an acoustic level by measuring vowel duration, word duration, f0 patterns and realization of consonant clusters. The result shows that, after training, her pronunciation improved in all the three aspects. The improvement was audible as well as measurable with acoustical changes in absolute and relative vowel duration and realization of consonant clusters. Word stress patterns were also improved but with less clear-cut acoustic correlates.

    Background: Getting cancer as young meant a strange break in life and could affect the ability to achieve important life goals like finding a partner and forming a family. Although it has been known that childhood cancer treatment could affect the ability to have biological children for teenagers and young adults. Is been shown that there were limited knowledge of the problems that young people with cancer experience, experience in terms of sexuality and the ability to have children.

    Aim: This literature study aimed to highlight how childhood cancer treatment did affected teenagers and young adults sexual and reproductive health.

    Method: A method of a qualitative based literature review was applied. In the result ten articles with qualitative data was analyzed using a five step model. That resulted in three main themes and six subthemes.

    Results: Three main themes were identified in this study results, there was; fertility impact on the future, changed experiences in the intimate cohabitation and the feeling of lack of communication and information. Six subthemes were identified as; thoughts about becoming a parent in the future, maintaining sexuality and fertility, change identity complicates intimacy, challenging intimacy with a partner, absence of information and communication as well as need of survivors.

    Conclusion: This study highlights that teenagers and young adults who survived childhood cancer experience affected reproductive and sexual health. Therefore, it is important that nurses are aware of when and how the subject is being discussed.

    Abstract [en]

    The aim of the study is to describe how school staff and social workers identify and prevent truancy in the Swedish compulsory school. The study explores the school workers professional experiances of the underlying causes of truancy and what measures are taken in collaboration with social authorities to prevent pupils´ absence from school. The study is based on current international and national research and takes into account policy documents, legal texts and general advice issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education and the National board of Health and Welfare. The theoretical perspective used in of the analyses are the terms inclusion and exclusion. Qualitative semi-structured lifeworld interviews with five professional categories (a school head master, a councelor, a  teacher and two social workers) working in school were performed. The interviews focused on causes of truancy and collaborative work involving both school professionals and social workers. The interviews were recorded and subsequently transcribed and analysed. The analysis was performed thematically, causes of truancy and collaborative work to prevent truancy. The interpretation of the data was based on consensus and differences in the responses. As can be seen from the discussion, the primary cause of truancy is related to the pupil´s home situation. Research shows that school can be a protective factor to prevent exclusion. In cases where truancy is related to the school situation it is principally a result of group pressure from other pupils. All respondents in the interviews stated that they have an awareness of where pupils with extensive absenteeism are in relation to the school´s work model to prevent truancy. Collaborative work is a success factor to reduce truancy.

    Background: Each day numerous people get acutely ill and have to visit an emergency department. Almost any condition can occur at the emergency department, and a lot of knowledge exists in how to treat them. Less is known about how the person experiences these visits and with all these acute conditions it is easy to forget the person behind the illness during the rush.

    Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate how the person experiences their visit at the emergency department.

    Method: A qualitative study was conducted using Fribergs five steps method. 10 different articles were included which resulted in three themes with 10 subthemes.

    Results: The three emerged themes were caring relations, situation management and the care. The themes showed different opinions about feeling neglected, having a lack of participation, information shortage or that the waiting time was majorly considered as a negative experience.

    Conclusion: The conducted study points to more awareness about the patients. The staff has to confirm the patients more and let them participate best after their ability. Information about their overall condition and waiting time was seen as relevant and something which is needed to work further on.

    Background: Every year 250,000 children worldwide receive the unimaginable diagnosis of cancer. A cancer diagnosis inflicts a major impact on the family situation. They must deal with an entirely, both emotionally and socially new situation they are not prepared for. It is of great importance that the nurse has adequate knowledge to be able to provide the best possible care to the entire family.

    Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the family members' experiences of losing a child in cancer.

    Method: A method to contribute to evidence-based nursing with ground in analysis of qualitative research was performed to get a better understanding of families' experiences. An analysis of thirteen qualitative articles was carried out. The analysis resulted in five main themes and sixteen subthemes.

    Results: The results of the study showed that families losing a child in cancer are having a heart-breaking time. They described combative feelings between hope and despair. The mothers often took care of the sick child at home and the fathers kept their minds busy while working. The families put all their own needs and sorrows aside. The siblings felt lonely since the parents took care of the sick child. After the passing, the family kept a bond to the deceased child through memories and dreams.

    Conclusion: The families experienced a greater need of support from the nurses and the hospital staff, during the time when the child was sick and after the death.

    Background: When a child gets cancer, it's not only the child that is affected, the rest of the family will also be affected, especially the parents. It is not only psychologically stressful, but also factors such as work and social life are affected. It is important to learn about parents' experiences of living with a child with cancer to be able to provide as good care as possible.

    Aim: This study aimed to describe parents' experiences of living with a child with cancer.

    Method: A method to contribute to evidence-based nursing with ground in analysis of qualitative research was performed to get a better understanding of parents' experiences. An analysis of eleven qualitative articles was carried out. The analysis resulted in five main themes and fifteen subthemes.

    Results: The results of the study showed that the parents experienced a variety of emotions that change with the time associated with the disease. The first feelings that arose were shock and powerlessness that later in the course of the disease was devolved to gratitude and a new view of life. Everyday life was turned upside down and the need for support was tremendous.

    Conclusion: It emerges from the study that parents of children with cancer go through many phases and emotions throughout the course of the disease. The parents have to cope with the change that the disease brings with it and it's important to have support from several different directions. By living with the child's illness, the family got a new perspective on life and re-prioritizes what is important here and now.

    I forskning, rapporter och medier framgår att upplevd ensamhet är vanlig i gruppen äldre. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka ensamboende pensionärers upplevelse av sin sociala situation med fokus på umgänge och relationer mellan olika generationer utifrån ett livsloppsperspektiv. Som metod har den kvalitativa halvstrukturerade intervjuformen används för att kunna fokusera på enskilda individer. Fyra stycken ensamboende pensionärer har intervjuats och resultatet av intervjuerna har framlagts i studiens empiri och slutdiskussion. Resultaten visar att de pensionärer som intervjuades i denna studie upplevde sina respektive sociala situationer som goda i och med att samtliga fann gemenskap och hade ett socialt umgänge med familjemedlemmar och övrig släkt samt med grannar och andra vänner. Gemenskap kunde också uppstå genom intressen, hobbys och ideell verksamhet. Umgänge och gemenskap med andra yngre generationer upplevdes som positivt och skedde främst inom familj eller släkt. Samtliga informanter var även positiva till generationsöverskridande verksamhet för äldre och barn även om ingen av dem sade sig vara personligt intresserade.

    Backround

    ; Aphasia is a communication disorder that can be experienced following a stroke. About 12 000 people develop aphasia following a stroke every year in Sweden in different ages. Patients with aphasia have a tendency to have a poorer quality of life and higher ranges of depression then patients with other disorders after a stroke. Deterioration of language function may alter the patient's everyday life and life quality.

    Aim

    ; The purpose of this study was to describe patients' experiences of aphasia following a stroke.

    Method

    ; Literature study with qualitative approach. Ten chosen articles were read, reviewed and analyzed.

    Results;

    Four categories emerged from the analysis; A hidden suffering, Experiences from the environment, Health care workers weaknesses and strengths in the meeting and The meaning of goal and future prospects.

    Conclusion;

    Our study highlights the need of knowledge among the aphasic patients and shows that an equal relationship with lots of information, empathy, time and support is the key to understand and be understood by the patients. To achieve a better life after the stroke it was shown that a positive attitude, supporting family and participation in community was of great importance.

    Abstract [en]

    Most multinational enterprises face difficulties regarding what and how to best communicate activities related to corporate social responsibility. Therefore, this master thesis addresses the online communication of corporate social responsibility by Swedish multinational enterprises. The purpose is to contribute to the understanding of the way Swedish multinational enterprises reveal messages regarding corporate social responsibility to their international stakeholders while communicating with them online via their websites and social media.

    This research is of qualitative nature and follows a multiple case study design. The six Swedish MNEs the Volvo Group, H&M, Atlas Copco, Securitas AB, Svenska Kullagerfabriken, and Svenska Cellulosa AB are included in the sample. Two methods for data collection are combined: online observation of the communication regarding corporate social responsibility on the corporate websites including sustainability reports or alike and in social media as well as qualitative, semi-structured interviews with the employees in charge of corporate social responsibility.

    The results indicate that the examined multinational enterprises communicated corporate social responsibility in different ways depending on whether they communicate via their corporate websites, their reports or in social media. This master thesis concludes with practical recommendations for multinational enterprises involved in communication of corporate social responsibility.

    I trafiken omkommer nästan 1.3 miljoner människor årligen i samband med olyckor längs vägarna runt om i världen (World Health Organization, 2018). Genom att låta autonoma system ta över framförandet av personbilar och transportfordon skulle miljontals liv potentiellt kunna räddas. Denna studie ämnar besvara hur ansvar och förtroende påverkar svenska trafikanters motivation och vilja att bruka autonoma bilar. Resultatet av vår studie indikerar på att kunskap har en central roll i detta. Låg kunskap över hur autonoma bilars beslutssystem förväntas agera, tenderar framkalla rädsla och oro som i sin tur resulterar i bristande förtroende för tekniken. Vid lågt förtroende tenderar även benägenheten att stå som ansvarig vara låg. Detta kan medföra att motivationen och viljan att bruka autonoma bilar riskerar bli lidande. Genom att öka trafikanternas kunskaper om hur autonoma bilar och dess beslutssystem fungerar, ser vi möjligheter att även kunna öka benägenheten att bära ansvar, samt generera högre tillit till tekniken bakom autonoma bilar. Därigenom ser vi möjligheter att kunna nå en starkare motivation och vilja att bruka dessa fordon i framtiden

    The study was conducted in an anonymous case company. Fall company is one of the leading companies in the staffing industry. The study is qualitative in nature and was conducted using semi-structured interviews on the case. Two interviews took place on site at the staffing company while a reply through email.     Valet 2018 spåddes till att bli sociala mediers stora genomslagskraft inom politiken. Tidigare forskning har visat att det finns flera olika faktorer som spelar roll i människors politiska utveckling och engagemang.

    Syftet med denna studie var därför att undersöka ungdomars politiska engagemang i symbios med sociala medier. Tidigare forskning visar att massmedier i allmänhet kan vara en påverkningsfaktor men att sociala medier inte visar sig vara av betydande karaktär. Dessutom finns det relativt lite forskning kring ungdomars politiska engagemang i relation till sociala medier.

    Vår studie är en kvalitativ intervjustudie där vi har intervjuat sex ungdomar som har röstat i årets riksdagsval och som använder sociala medier i någon form. Utfallet av intervjuerna har analyserats med hjälp av självbestämmandeteorin och begrepp såsom socialisationsagenter; familj, skola och sociala medier. Dessa har använts för att försöka förstå och förklara respondenternas resonemang.

    Resultatet av intervjuerna avslöjar att sociala medier idag spelar en alltmer större roll än vad tidigare forskning visat. Socialisationsagenterna familj och skola visar sig i vår studie vara fortsatt väsentliga faktorer, dock inte i lika stor utsträckning som sociala medier. Genom att vi använt oss av självbestämmandeteorin för att försöka förklara vad som drivit ungdomarna till att gå och rösta har vi funnit att de drivs av både inre och yttre motivationsfaktorer. Detta varierar dock i olika grad mellan våra respondenter

    Det finns olika hypoteser kring hur organisationer skall nå framgång och hur de skall få tillgång till väsentlig information som gör att resultatet slutligen påverkas positivt. I detta sammanhang är nyckeltalen ett verktyg som kan reducera denna problematik genom att i stället för att mäta den direkta resultatpåverkan av en åtgärd så kan organisationen mäta påverkan på nyckeltalet. På så sätt kan beslut rationaliseras genom att styra de faktorer som antas leda till framgång. Det finns mycket teori om och kring hur nyckeltal skall utformas, implementeras och användas, men den stora frågan är hur de används i praktiken av företagsledningen och organisationen? Motsvarar de teorins förväntningar med tanke på utformning, implementering och användning? Vi genomförde en fallstudie på ett tillverkningsföretag med syfte med att utforska de betydande aspekterna, för att skapa tillfredställande nyckeltal, med fokus på de icke-finansiella, som genomsyrar hela den löpande verksamheten i företaget. Fallstudien genomfördes som en kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer. Den teoretiska referensramen var endast baserad på vetenskapliga artiklar och berörde nyckeltal i förhållande till verksamhetsstyrning och resultatmätning. I den teoretiska referensramen presenterades slutligen vår egen analysmodell, genererad av teorin, som tog upp fem olika perspektiv vilket genomgående användes i empiriavsnittet samt i analys- och tolkningsavsnittet. Genom vår studie identifierade vi sju olika aspekter som var viktiga för skapandet, implementeringen och användningen av tillfredsställande nyckeltal vilka var; organisationsstruktur, verksamhetsstyrning, uppdatering, mål – strategi – framgångsfaktorer, kommunikation, ansvarsstruktur samt orsak-verkan perspektiv. Genom att företaget tog hänsyn till dessa aspekter vid skapandet, implementeringen och användandet av nyckeltal i företaget, uppmärksammade vi att de hade uppnått ett holistiskt perspektiv på nyckeltalsanvändnigen, som var tillfredställande och ledde till lönsamhet. Problematiken i studien var tidsramen som medförde att undersökningens djup begränsades, samt att vi endast fick tillgång till intervjuer med en ekonomichef och en produktionsansvarig och därmed inget perspektiv från medarbetena i produktionen. Ytterligare två begränsningar var att studiens verifierbarhet minskades genom att företaget ville vara anonymt, samt att vi inte studerat ledarskapets roll i sammanhanget, vilket är något som kan undersökas i fortsatta studier.

    Background:

    When the patient is critically ill the family is in a vulnerable position. The nurse's role is to support and help the family to find meaning in the difficult situation and to provide realistic hope. Balancing between the patient's and the family's needs is difficult. Knowledge about how nurses experience difficulties in the interaction with family is required in order to grant good care too critically ill patients and their family-members.

    Aim:

    To describe nurses' perceived difficulties in the interaction with family-members of critically ill patients.

    Method:

    The study is a qualitative literature-based study based on qualitative research. Results: The analysis resulted in four main themes; difficult disunion, environmental constraints, interpersonal difficulties and communicative difficulties. Conflicts, disagreement and expectations in the interaction with family-members are difficult. There are environmental constraints in the form of family's presence, lack of space and time constraints. Nurses find it difficult to manage their emotions, family who get to close and to support the family. Information, comprehension, knowledge, language barriers and cultural differences represents communicative difficulties.

    Conclusion:

    There is a lack of knowledge among nurses about how to handle difficult situations where family is involved. Doctors and nurses need to collaborate more. Conflicts, disagreements and expectations can put severe pressure on the nurse. It is difficult for the nurse to strike a balance between being professional and being personal. Environmental constraints are an organizational problem which creates difficulties for the nurse in the interaction with family.

    This case study investigates how Swedish system development companies that develop blockchain applications can work with agile project methods. The purpose of this study is to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of using agile methods within blockchain development and gain an insight into how Swedish companies can handle the problems that arises when using agile methods in blockchain development. The study focuses on the following three main areas: agile methods within blockchain development, test-driven development and current knowledge of blockchain in Swedish system development companies today.

    The case study was conducted on the system development company Superblocks, of which three interviews were carried out with three key persons from superblocks. This material was analyzed and processed to interpret how the system development company works with blockchain development using agile methods and to study how the company's approach compares with the study's theories: Agile project methods in blockchain development and test-driven development. The first theory deals with agile project methods in general and shows the advantages and disadvantages of using blockchain development with agile methods. Test-driven development is an agile method that is well-suited for blockchain development and shows approaches to dealing with the problems that arise in blockchain development with agile methods.

    This case study shows that test-driven development is preferable when developing blockchain applications with agile methods and that the tools and frameworks that currently exists are insufficient. The study also indicates that the understanding of blockchain technology in Swedish system development companies are low and needs more developing.

    Bakgrund: För att bedömningen av elevers kunskaper ska fungera som ett stöd för derasutveckling behöver eleverna vara delaktiga i hela lärandeprocessen. Därför behöver målen och kunskapskraven synliggöras och tydliggöras för att eleverna ska veta syftet med undervisningen. Detta kan ske genom exempelvis måldialog, pedagogisk planeringoch bedömningsmatriser. För att eleverna ska förstå mål och kunskapskrav behöver de även bearbeta dessa genom olika metoder, exempelvis genom själv-och kamratbedömning.

    Syfte

    : Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur elever förstår de lärandemål och kunskapskrav som lärarna presenterar. Vi undersöker även elevernas förutsättningar förmedvetenhet om och förståelse för demål och kunskapskrav som undervisningen behandlar.

    Metod

    : Studien har genomförts med hjälp av elevintervjuerdär lärarintervjuer har legat till grund för elevintervjuerna. Datamaterialet har samlats in i en årskurs treaoch en årskurs femma. Efter analysen av datamaterialet genomfördes en återkoppling av analysresultatet till eleverna. Studien har genomförts med utgångspunkt i elevernas perspektiv.

    Resultat

    : Ett sammanfattande resultat visar att eleverna i båda klasserna uppfattar att lärarna synliggör och tydliggör mål och kunskapskrav genommåldialog. I årskurs tre använderlärarna sig även av pedagogiska planeringaroch i årskurs fem använder lärare sig även av bedömningsmatriser. Eleverna uttrycker att metoder som hjälper dem att förstå mål och kunskapskrav är genom självbedömning eller kamratbedömning. Eleverna uttrycker även att de genom undervisningens aktiviteter blirhjälpta medatt förstå vad målen innebär. Deföredrar olika metoder för att få förståelse för mål och kunskapskrav

    The project has been carried out at Componenta in Främmestad and the purpose was to investigate the prerequisites for the introduction of digital instructions in the CNC-processing part of the company. The problem was that that inadequate compliance or misinterpretation of work instructions lead to an increased risk of quality deficiencies. The goal was to make proposals for systems that will contribute to reduced quality shortage costs associated with operator's manual work, as well as to report economic calculations showing the economic conditions for the introduction.

    The work began with mapping of problems in terms of economic ground and stakeholder perceptions. In the process of mapping the conditions stakeholders were surveyed on the requirements and wishes of a future system, the requirements were summarized in a list of requirements. When the current situation and requirements were summarized, supplier comparison started. About 40 systems were studied and then scaled down to about ten which were compared in detail. The comparison considered technical and economic aspects, two systems were chosen for further work. Economic calculations and side effects of both systems where reported, and the results show that both systems have a payback time of less than one year. Over the first five years, a surplus from the investment is expected to be *** SEK. The analysis is that the company should ensure that the problem is solitary and then start working on standardized instructions.

    The authors recommend that Componenta initially starts using a system called Dozuki, which is a system for digital instructions. In the longer term, the need for a more comprehensive system should be evaluated, alternatively, to initiate collaboration with the company Scout systems to evaluate what their system can do for the company.

    Bakgrunden till detta ämne handlar om att vi människor blir allt mer medvetna om miljön och de faktorer som påverkar samhället vi lever i. Vi får i allt större utsträckning information om hur vi ska ta vårt ansvar för miljön. Men hur fungerar det för de stora företagen? Problemet är att utan hjälp från dessa stora företag är frågan om ett hållbart samhälle svårt att lösa. Så utifrån detta, vad är det som motiverar dem att ta sitt ansvar? Varför väljer företag att upprätta en frivillig hållbarhetsredovisning? Har avståndet till den privata kunden någon betydelse och vilka skillnader kan identifieras? Mitt syfte med studien är därför att ta reda på om hållbarhetsredovisningen skiljer sig åt mellan de företag som säljer till privatkunder och de företag som säljer till företag. I frågan om den skiljer sig kommer uppsatsen behandla och studera användningen av Global Reporting Initiative som är ett frivilligt ramverk med riktlinjer som företag kan använda sig av vid uppförandet av hållbarhetsredovisningen. Den kommer vidare behandla i vilken omfattning företagen låter sig göra en oberoende extern granskning av hållbarhetsredovisningen. Även mängden hållbarhetsinformation som företagen presenterar kommer att studeras för att se om det skiljer sig mellan företagen. Dessa frågor ligger till grund för den valda teorin och kommer vidare att tas upp genom hela uppsatsen. Förutom på dessa frågor ligger det ett stort fokus på legitimitetsteorin för att försöka förstå företagens hållbarhetsredovisning. För att besvara min forskningsfråga och få mitt syfte uppfyllt har jag valt att göra en kvalitativ fallstudie med ett induktivt synsätt. All min empiri i studien är tagen från företagens årsredovisningar för 2011 samt den separata hållbarhetsinformation som funnits tillgänglig på företagens hemsidor. Analysen visar en skillnad i företagens hållbarhetsredovisningar mellan de två typerna av företag. De företag som sålde till privatkunder visade upp mer hållbarhetsinformation i sina årsredovisningar än de företag som sålde till företag. Vidare kunde det identifieras att dessa företag också oftare lät en oberoende part granska hållbarhetsredovisningen jämfört med de företag som sålde till företag. I analysen framgår det vidare att en koppling mellan den frivilliga hållbarhetsredovisningen och legitimitetsteorin kan göras.

    Abstract [en]

    Nesting problems have been present for as long as mankind exists. Present days these problems occur in many different industries, e.g. textile, paper, wood, metal and glass industry. These industries produce massive amounts of products to answer the global demand. To minimize the material waste making these products, a good cutting and packing layout is beneficial. The last three decades, researchers have focused on developing methods to solve these problems through computing, instead of solving them manually. Many possible solutions have been found, each method focusing on the specifications of the problem. This thesis had two sub-objectives. The first one was to find the best method for nesting optimization, by doing an intensive literature study. The second sub-objective was to work with a previous made program that is capable of doing optimization tests, containing a nesting optimization method, and try to improve this method to get better results, using the literature study. At a certain point in this project, based on the progress of the literature study and knowledge acquired on the in-house developed program, a decision had to be made either to continue with the previous developed method or to try a new method. A lot of ideas from the literature where used and implemented to improve the method leading to improving results. Hence, the choice was made to continue working with the previous developed method. A new placement strategy was introduced in the program. Additional program code to improve stencil evaluation was added. A proper user interface was created. At the end of this project, a nesting optimization method was obtained, capable of producing a feasible solution when solving a nesting problem, within a reasonable amount of time.

    The purpose of this study is to identify how a social pedagogue works at sheltered accommodation. The study illustrates how the participation is connected to learning in everyday situations of people with disabilities. The study is based on a social pedagogical approach and focuses on participation, learning and how social pedagogue works with this concept. The questions we will answer in our study are: What is the social pedagogues roll at a sheltered accommodation? How social pedagogues get the individual to participate in everyday situations in the sheltered accommodation? How social pedagogues work to promote individual learning in everyday situations in the sheltered accommodation? As method we used a qualitative approach with a base in a phenomenological perspective. We have also supplemented with other methods books. The fundamental idea was to base the study on qualitative surveys, we have also complimented with interviews. We have coded and categorized, the category we came up with was Social pedagogical, participation, learning. The theories and perspectives we have used are connected with our categories. The outcome of the study is presented in quotes taken from the surveys and interviews. We have connected the theory with our study in the analyses and try to see connections and similarities in our material. Our interpretation is that social pedagogy, participation and learning is related to each other. And the social pedagogues use these concepts in their work. Our conclusions are that we are learning in the everyday and the individual can be participation in one situation but not in another one. It depends on environmental factors such as staff and community/environment. The social pedagogue works for this to be promoted. Our thoughts about the study and what we want to develop is processed in the discussion part.

    Bakgrund: Johansson (2017) menar att ett flertal lärare ser läroböckerna som sitt bästa verktyg i matematikundervisningen. McIntosh (2008) hävdar att en så kallad traditionell undervisning där eleverna till stor del lämnas ensamma till att arbeta i läroboken kan bidra till missuppfattningar kring likhetstecknet, så som att eleverna enbart ser tecknet som ett "resultattecken". Ahl, Hoelgaard och Koljonen (2013) beskriver lärarhandledningen som en nödvändig komplettering till läroböckerna dock visar forskning att många lärare inte använder sig av handledningen på grund av otillgänglighet.

    Syfte: Syftet är att bidra med kunskap om hur likhetstecknet introduceras i läromedel och på vilket sätt lärarhandledningar ger lärare stöd att undervisa om likhetstecknet för att motverka missuppfattningar i matematikundervisningen. Studien avgränsas till att studera tre olika läroböcker med tillhörande lärarhandledning för årskurs 1.

    Metod: Vi valde att göra en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av tre läroböcker med tillhörande lärarhandledning. Resultatet sammanställdes vid en första kategorisering utifrån begreppen konkret, halvkonkret, halvabstrakt och abstrakt. Den andra kategoriseringen som innefattade missuppfattningar kring likhetstecknet sammanställdes utifrån begreppen separation, kontrastering, generalisering samt fusion. Samtliga kategoriseringar har sammanställts i tabeller.

    Resultatet visar att läroböcker och lärarhandledningar introducerar likhetstecknet med hjälp av konkret material. Det har dock visat sig att i läroböcker som inte innefattar uppgifter som uppmanar till användning av konkret material bör lärarhandledningen ses som ett komplement till boken där sådana instruktioner kan förekomma. Samtliga böcker innefattar halvkonkreta uppgifter vilka kan innebära att eleverna får ta del av färdigritade bilder eller enkla skisser som motsvarar en siffra eller ett antal. Det förekommer även halvabstrakta uppgifter där bilderna eller skisserna är ersatta med informella symboler så som streck eller prickar för att sedan övergå till abstrakta uppgifter där bilder eller informella symboler blir ersatta av siffror. Analysen av vilka variationsmönster som används för att motverka vanliga missuppfattningar kring likhetstecknet visar på spridda resultat. En av de undersökta böckerna omfattar samtliga variationsmönster medan en annan saknar tre av fyra möjliga variationsmönster.

    Bakgrund I kursplanen för matematik (Skolverket, 2011b, s. 56–66) är begreppen elevnära och vardagsnära situationer vanligt förekommande. Det råder dock osäkerhet och oenighet om vad som kan klassificeras som elevnära och vardagsnära situationer. Två förhållningssätt när det gäller att anknyta matematiken till elevernas vardag har utkristalliserats i den tidigare forskning som vi tagit del av. Dessa förhållningssätt är att anknyta ur samt för elevernas vardag och de är beskrivna av Nilsson (2003, s. 10). Vi tog också del av varierande bildfunktioner som på olika sätt samspelar eller inte samspelar med textuppgifterna. Dessa bildfunktioner är hämtade från Hagland och beskrivs som dekorativ bild, illustrativ bild och schematisk bild (2014, s. 27–29). Syfte Syftet med studien är att ta reda på om textuppgifterna om aritmetik i matematikläroböckerna för årskurs 2–3 är skapade för elevernas vardag eller ur elevernas vardag. Vi ville också undersöka vilken funktion de eventuella bilderna har som förekommer i samband med de textuppgifter som innefattar aritmetik. Metod Vi valde att göra en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av de två läroboksserierna Favorit matematik och Prima matematik. Resultatet sammanställdes med hjälp av kategorisering som redovisas i tabeller. Således har vi använt oss av en kvantitativ analysmetod men också en kvalitativ. Bildfunktionerna analyserades i relation till de undersökta textuppgifterna och klassificerades enligt följande: dekorativ bild, illustrativ bild samt schematisk bild. Resultat Resultatet visar att den kontext som är mest frekvent återkommande är att vardagsanknyta matematiken ur elevernas vardag. Antalet uppgifter skapade ur elevernas vardag är i relation till det totala antalet textuppgifter ändå lågt, eftersom det fanns många uppgifter som inte innefattade någon kontext alls, eller som inte kunde kopplas till elevernas vardag över huvud taget. Resultatet av undersökningen av bildfunktionen visar att de bilder som förekom till textuppgifter till största delen var dekorativa bilder, det vill säga bilder som inte bidrar med någon förståelse, förklaring eller förenklande funktion för eleverna. Resultatet visar att de bilder som bidrog till förenkling med att lösa uppgifterna var de som var minst representerade.

    Denna studie utgår från de ökade krav på relevant utbildning som idag ställs på behandlande personal på HVB-hem. Enligt Inspektionen för vård och omsorg saknar cirka hälften av alla anställda på HVB-hem adekvat utbildning. Med detta som utgångspunkt skapades intresset att ur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv studera hur olika typer av tidigare lärande upplevs av behandlande personal på ett HVB-hem ha bidragit till deras upplevda kompetens. Samt hur deras olika typer av tidigare lärande kan bidra till ett personligt och kollektivt lärande i personalgruppen.

    Fem intervjuer har genomförts med behandlande personal på ett HVB-hem. Tre av fem respondenter har relevant utbildning, en har god man samt familjehemsutbildning och den sista respondenten har ingen relevant utbildning. Respondenterna har tre till tio års erfarenhet av socialt arbete. Datainsamlingen genomfördes via fem semistrukturerade intervjuer som transkriberades och kodades för att hitta centrala teman i det som sagts av respondenterna.

    Vår analys visar på att mycket av den kompetens som respondenterna upplever sig besitta huvudsakligen kan kopplas till tidigare praktiskt lärande från arbete och kollegor men också personliga erfarenheter. Det teoretiska lärandet upplever våra respondenter till störst del vara viktigt för den kunskap de besitter kring lagar och riktlinjer relevanta för arbete inom HVB-hem. Analysen visar vidare på att upplevd kompetens inom ett område inte nödvändigtvis behöver vara tillräcklig och att det teoretiska lärandet kan anses vara viktigare i behandlingsarbetet än vad våra respondenter ger uttryck för.

    Slutsatsen av vår studie är att ur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv kan olika typer av tidigare lärande inom personalgruppen på ett HVB-hem anses vara en resurs i behandlingsarbetet och för det kollektiva lärandet.

    New approaches for efficient NDT inspection of modern additively manufactured metallic components are required urgently to qualify and validate the next generation of metallic parts across a range of industries. Ultrasonic testing is a fundamental component of NDT for such additive manufacturing processes. This work studies the ultrasonic propagation characteristics of EBM manufactured sample coupons in Inconel 718material. Fundamental longitudinal and shear wave velocity measurements are experimentally measured in 3 orthogonal build directions of the sample coupons. Results show a dependency of the ultrasonic velocities and the build direction. The measured velocities are further verified in a phased array measurement showing successful results that highlights the potential of continued studies with synthetic apertures techniques.

    Abstract [en]

    There is a growing need for non-destructive techniques capable of investigating civilengineering structures of concrete material. The Impact-Echo (IE) method is one suchtechnique based on the study of a resonant and stationary mode. This mode corresponds to a Lamb mode. In turn, this accentuates that the IE method can easily be extended to include the analysis of propagating Lamb modes as well. Thereby a quantitative evaluation of the elastic plate properties and thickness is possible. Moreover, the use of Lamb waves lay the foundations for extended analysis which makes measurements based on an extension of the IE method an attractive complement to current ultrasonic techniques for plate-like concrete structures.

    Intresset för denna uppsats väcktes då jag ställde mig frågan hur det kommer sig att de yrkesgrupper kvinnliga chefer dominerar inom är vård, omsorg och socialtjänst medan männen däremot är överrepresenterade t ex. inom byggbranschen, ekonomi, industribranschen och utan tvekan överrepresenterade bland chefer i arbetslivet. Med denna studie vill jag bidra till ökad förståelse för konstruktionen av ledarskap ur ett genusperspektiv. Jag har djupintervjuat fem olika ledare på samma företag om deras upplevelse om ledarskap ur ett genusperspektiv. Därefter har jag undersökt om de upplever någon skillnad mellan kvinnligt och manligt ledarskap. Jag vill även veta om de tycker deras kön påverkar deras roll som ledare. På så vis har jag skapat mig en bild över hur dessa ledare tycker en ledare bör vara, om de tycker att ledarrollen påverkas av kön samt hur de själva gör sig till ledare. Jag har kommit fram till att samhället och arbetslivet är djupt präglad av mannen som norm. Detta har bidragit till att kvinnor anses vara ofullkomliga i jämförelse med mannen och därmed ofullständiga för att kunna vara goda ledare.Vi ser dock nya former av hur ledarskap konstrueras där det maskulina och feminina ledarskapet har hittat nya former. Detta är tydligast inom "nya" organisationer som är kvinnodominerande.
