The threating of the out-of-town shopping centres has been and remains being a problem to face by cities and towns. Thus, these places, particularly the smaller town centres, have to conduct ways to tackle these big customer attractors. In order to do it, all the groups involved in the town, local sectors such as the municipality, and private sectors such as the retailers, should work together to be more effective approaching the customer. This study investigated the coordination and funding partnership between the retailers, the municipality and the real estate owners of the Trollhättan town in Sweden. The study also provides an insight of the Trollhättan customers' view of the place. To achieve it, semi-structured qualitative interviews were conducted. One of the managers of the partnership was interviewed as well as 15 customers. Through the analysis of the results, it can be seen the good approach of the investigated partnership. Their good understanding of each part reality enables to agree in the plans committed to accomplish. When it comes to the customers’ point of view, the older people desire more shops but for the younger people it takes more relevance to arrange more entertainment places. Furthermore, the grey color of the town centre is reported, being the best option to deal it to set more lively green nature and colourful elements. However, the visitors have a general good view of the town centre.
