Abstract [sv]

Studien bygger på att studera samverkanprocesserna mellan grundskola och socialtjänst samt på hur samverkan fungerar i praktiken mellan dessa två organisationer. Genom en kvalitativ undersökning i en förort i västra Sverige kom vi fram till hur personer från olika professioner i grundskola och socialtjänst upplever samverkansprocessen samt hur de arbetar tillsammans för att utveckla samverkan. Det framkom också vissa framgångsfaktorer och brister i samverkan. Det som tydligt visades under studiens gång var att samverkan är en tidskrävande process som bygger på goda relationer. Respondenterna såg samverkan som en nödvändig resurs för att kunna tillgodose utsattabarns behov på bästa sätt.

Abstract [en]

This study is based on the collaboration processes between primary school and social services and based on how collaboration works in practice between these two organizations. Through a qualitative study in a suburb in western Sweden, we came to the conclusion how people from different professions at primary school and social services experience the interaction process and how they work together to develop collaboration. It also revealed some success factors and shortcomings in cooperation. It clearly demonstrated during the study that collaboration is a time consuming process based on good relationships. Respondents saw the collaboration as an essential resource to meet vulnerable children's needs in the best way.
