Att sakna internetåtkomst när man snabbt behöver kunna konfigurera eller stänga ner sitt nätverk vid en attack kan vara ett stort problem då all fjärråtkomst normalt sker via SSH eller VPN. Det här examensarbetet behandlar en metod att ge säker åtkomst till ett lokalt nätverk genom att skicka kommandon eller förfrågningar via SMS för att på så sätt utöka räckvidden för den mobila åtkomsten i de fall IP-kommunikation ej är tillgänglig. Vi har byggt en lösning som är enkelt att sätta upp och som inte kräver några större ekonomiska investeringar.

The lack of internet access can be a huge problem when you need to make quick changes or shut your network down in case of an attack since remote access usually utilizes SSH or VPN. This thesis will describe a method to give secure access to a local network by sending commands or receiving info through SMS, thus increasing the reach of mobile access when data access is nonexistent. We have created a solution that is easy to set up and that requires only small economic investments.
