Organizational culture as a competitive advantage : A case study (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This study examines the organizational culture in order to be able to contribute knowledge about if it could be used as a means of competition, and the competitive advantages it could bring. Organizational Culture and competitive tool as acombination is not a well-explored area. There is great competition in the market and organizations therefore need to find new ways to create competitive advantages. When we collected the data for this study, we chose interviews and observations as a method where Arena Älvhögsborg has been the object of study. The study has a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic approach in which we interpret and analyze the collected material. To be able to make reasonable interpretations and connections were scientific articles and literature a support. Known scientists in the subject include Schein, Barney and Alvesson, we have therefore chosen to present their research in the theoretical framework.
