Abstract [sv]

Denna studie undersöker organisationskultur för att på så sätt kunna bidra med kunskap om den skulle kunna användas som ett konkurrensmedel och vilka konkurrensfördelar den skulle kunna föra med sig. Organisationskultur och konkurrensmedel som kombination är inte ett väl utforskat område. Det råder idag stor konkurrens på marknaden och organisationer kan därmed behöva finna nya sätt att skapa konkurrensfördelar på.När vi samlade in data till denna undersökning valde vi intervjuer och observationer som metod där Arena Älvhögsborg har varit studieobjektet. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats med en hermeneutisk inriktning där vi tolkar och analyserar insamlat material. För att kunna göra rimliga tolkningar och kopplingar ligger vetenskapliga artiklar och litteratur till stöd. Kända forskare inom ämnet är bland annat Schein, Barney och Alvesson, vi har därför valt att presentera deras forskning i den teoretiska referensramen.

Abstract [en]

This study examines the organizational culture in order to be able to contribute knowledge about if it could be used as a means of competition, and the competitive advantages it could bring. Organizational Culture and competitive tool as acombination is not a well-explored area. There is great competition in the market and organizations therefore need to find new ways to create competitive advantages.When we collected the data for this study, we chose interviews and observations as a method where Arena Älvhögsborg has been the object of study. The study has a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic approach in which we interpret and analyze the collected material. To be able to make reasonable interpretations and connections were scientific articles and literature a support. Known scientists in the subject include Schein, Barney and Alvesson, we have therefore chosen to present their research in the theoretical framework.
