"I look happy, but there is no one who really understands how I feel" : A qualitative study of how student health teams and educators perceive and work around the students' mental health (English)
Abstract [sv]

The empirical data were analyzed by inspiration from a phenomenographic approach. The results showed that the respondents perceived mental ill health as a problem in school. They saw the phenomenon as a barrier to young people's learning, then the influencing factors such as stress and demands were contributing factors. It also emerged that parents could be one reason for the students' health. In our purpose, we also wanted to examine the staff's working methods, to strengthen students with perceived ill health. The staff's solution to this phenomenon was to implement the empowerment-oriented exercises.
