Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

In following essay examinees the reduced employer contributions for younger and the problems in the recruitment when a applicants with the reduction. The topic is current within Swedish policy because the recently added government will remove the reduction. Through own calculations on average salaries we have been able to get employers comments on what's valued in the recruitment. The most prominent in the interviews is that the economic aspect is not valued as high as personal assets and professional experience. The aim with this study is to contribute to a better understanding about the youngers employability and the problems concerning the high unemployment regarding younger people. Our research question has been able to be answered because two selection groups were compared with each other. The selection groups contained younger people with less work experience but have the reduced employer contributions and the other group that are older and have work experience. This qualitative study has through interviews and calculations been able to conclude that the reduction not helping younger people enter the skilled occupations because it's often that employer's seeking people with education and therefor will it be to late for the reduction to be worth something in the recruitment.
