Students Facebook use : is it about personality? (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The study also examines what the relationship looks like between the various personality dimensions. This study was a quantitative study in questionnaire form Students at University West participated in the study. The conclusion of the study was that there was a significant positive correlation between one personality dimension and Facebook usage, and that this was between Extraversion and number of friends. Most people showed high Agreeableness and the personality dimensions that correlated most strongly were Extraversion and Neuroticism, where individuals with higher values on one of the dimensions tend to score lower on the other dimension.
