The purpose of this study is to find out what difficulties occurs between the partners in the multinational team belonging to the company French X. This research is deducted for the company as they want me to highlight the problems they have that are not yet discovered. After concluding what could be their problem within their multinational team it will be easier for them to face the issues and work more efficiently. I carried out five qualitative interviews with different managers from the team that responded to the issues they face. They are all from different countries, having different backgrounds, different mother tongues and experience of living in different cultures. What they have in common is working in the same business called the French X i.e. different locations and plants. I wanted to highlight their diverse or common opinion regarding how important they consider communication and relationship to be between their team to further discover what kind of problems they come to deal with. I wanted to focus on what each one of them had to say and their own experiences, after which I chose the concepts and theories based on their talk. It is important to make clear that this study is done by an inductive approach, which means I collected some of the data first and then a selection of the theory was made. I did a research (the interviews with the manager’s from the company) to find out what could be the problem in the company French X. After a few interviews I started to assume culture to be the issue within the manager’s virtual intercultural team. Therefore my main research question comes to be; to what extent does culture affect the multinational team in a French production company? Also two sub questions are presented; what kind of problems come to be the issue within the intercultural team in a French production company? How important do the managers in a French production consider relationship and communication to be? My thesis got a focus on culture and it affects upon intercultural teams and the globalization in general. Many famous authors which are presented in my work highlight this subject to be sufficient when working in a team like the French X. After completing all of the interviews and comparing the data to the theory I selected, I come to realize that culture was to some extent a problem within the team of French X. Still culture was not the only issue the manager’s had to deal with. Several aspects came to be important as well. A suggestion for the company is also done in the last section. I describe my own solutions to their difficulties I discovered they had
