Abstract [en]

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that connects everyday objects to the Internet, allowing them to send and receive data. This technology is becoming more common in many areas like smart homes, factories, and healthcare, enhancing operational efficiency and ena-bling real-time monitoring. This project focused on developing a smart home system utilizing IoT.

Microcontroller and sensors were employed to better manage home environments. Temperature and humidity sensor with a fan were connected to control ventilation, ensuring the air remains comfortable. Additionally, a gas sensor with a buzzer was installed to quickly alert to any potential leaks, increasing safety.

The system allows for remote monitoring and control of home environments through real-time data displayed on an LCD screen and online on the ThingSpeak platform. This demon-strates how IoT can simplify home management and enhance safety with minimal human intervention. The project successfully showed that these systems are effective and highlighted their potential benefits in everyday life, setting the stage for future innovation in smart home technology.
