This paper presents a literature review coupled with an interview case study on healthcare crise management concerning the COVID-19 pandemic at a Swedish hospital. The purpose is to explore and analyze the Dynamic Capabilities (DC) framework, including themes of sensing, seizing and transformation, and adding the novel themes of anti-sensing, anti-seizing, and anti-transformation, as a concept contributing to healthcare crise management during pandemics. Findings showed that the case hospital used DCs, however, capabilities were more visible at lower hierarchical management levels, i.e., the quota between the number of interviewees' excerpts/themes between anti-seizing and seizing increased with higher organization level.
