This thesis rigorously explores the challenges faced by expatriates in Sweden, covering vital aspects like language, culture, integration, work-life balance, support frameworks, housing, healthcare, and familial dynamics. Synthesizing data from diverse sources offers crucial insights into enhancing expatriates' well-being and integration. The conclusions drawn from the study hold implications for policymaking and interventions, benefiting both the expatriate community and the host society. These findings are integral to comprehending the intricacies of cross-cultural interactions, social assimilation, and multicultural dynamics.By identifying challenges and effective coping mechanisms, this research contributes to the development of an inclusive environment that nurtures the flourishing of expatriates while enriching the social fabric of Sweden. Ultimately, this work underscores the necessity of addressing expatriates' challenges to ensure seamless integration, enhance their quality of life and promote societal cohesion.
