As our world evolves, technology continues to advance, impacting various aspects of our daily lives. One significant realm that has been revolutionized by technology is marketing, with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) playing a central role in this transformation. An innovative manifestation of this progress is "V-commerce" – a form of online shopping that harnesses the power of virtual reality technology to offer customers a fully immersive and three-dimensional shopping experience. Despite being a novel concept, V-commerce holds great promise in the field of marketing, prompting a need for extensive research to unravel the factors that attract users to embrace this innovative shopping paradigm.
This study delves into the core aspects that underlie the allure of V-commerce. By examining the elements of virtual presence, intensity, satisfaction, and involvement, the research uncovers the pivotal factors that draw individuals to this technology-driven shopping experience.Through insightful interviews with a diverse group of ten participants, this study seeks to unravel the perspectives, opinions, and insights regarding the determinants influencing the adoption of V-commerce. The findings shed light on the distinct advantages that set V-commerce apart from traditional web-based shopping. The allure of remote communication, the vividness of information, interactive engagement, and unmatched convenience emerge as pivotal factors driving customers toward V-commerce over conventional online shopping methods.
