Digitalisering är en faktor som växer i takt med samhällets förändringar och därmed måste olika organisationer ha i beaktande en förändringsprocess som innebär att möta nya perspektiv och arbetssätt. Redovisningsprocessen är en av många processer som genomgått en omvälvande utveckling och som fortfarande är i ständig förändring. Denna studie kommer därmed undersöka på vilket sätt digitaliseringen påverkat redovisningsprocessen i olika organisationer. Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en mer detaljerad bild över hur redovisningskonsulterna påverkats av förändringen på grund av digitaliseringen i en mer digitaliserad redovisningsbyrå och en mindre digitaliserad redovisningsbyrå inom den privata sektorn. Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ metod där datainsamlingen gjordes på två byråer inom den privata sektorn genom en enkätundersökning. Enkäten bestod av öppna enkätfrågor där respondenterna fick svara fritt. Resultatet visade på att digitaliseringen av redovisningsprocessen ökat effektiviteten i arbetet. Detta har lett till att det finns mer tid över till andra arbetsuppgifter som till exempel rådgivning. Studien har även visat att redovisningskonsulterna till övervägande del har en positiv inställning till att arbetet blir mer och mer digitaliserat. Vid en jämförelse av redovisningsprocessen mellan två olika byråer har vi kunnat se hur digitaliseringsprocessen har påverkat redovisningsbyråerna. I den mer digitaliserade byrån har arbetet blivit mer effektivt i takt med att kontoret har blivit papperslöst. I den mindre digitaliserade redovisningsbyrån har arbetet för de delar som digitaliserats blivit effektivare medan övriga delar är under en pågående utvecklingsprocess. 

Digitization is a factor that grows in step with society's changes, and thus different organizations must take into account a change process that means meeting new perspectives and ways of working. The accounting process is one of many processes that have undergone a revolutionary development and are still in constant change. This study will therefore investigate how digitization has affected the accounting process in various organizations. The purpose of this essay is to get a more detailed picture of how accounting consultants have been affected by the change due to digitization in a more digitized accounting firm and a less digitized accounting firm in the private sector. The study was conducted using a qualitative method where the data collection was done at two agencies in the private sector through a survey. The survey consisted of open survey questions where the respondents were allowed to answer freely. The results showed that the digitization of the accounting process increased the effectiveness of the work. This has led to more time being left over for other tasks such as advice. The study has also shown that the accounting consultants predominantly have a positive attitude towards the work becoming more and more digitized. By comparing the accounting process between two different agencies, we have been able to see how the digitization process has affected the accounting agencies. In the more digitized office, work has become more efficient as the office has become paperless. In the less digitized accounting firm, the work for the parts that have been digitized has become more efficient, while the other parts are under an ongoing development process.
