En rekryteringsprocess som bedrivs med stöd av artificiell intelligens kan enligt vissa studier överträffa de traditionella metoderna för att predicera individens arbetsprestation. Trots fördelarna har befolkningen generellt en negativ attityd kring ökad implementering av AI. Följande frågeställning formulerades: Hur ser sambandet ut mellan personlighet och attityd mot en rekryteringsprocess som bedrivs med artificiell intelligens? För att besvara frågeställningen utformades en enkät om personlighet enligt Hexaco och upplevelsen av traditionell- och AI-baserad rekrytering. Resultatet tyder på att det inte finns något statistiskt signifikant samband mellan personlighetsdrag och upplevelsen av AI vid en rekryteringsprocess (N=105). Däremot uppvisar resultatet att yngre i högre utsträckning har en positiv attityd mot AI i jämförelse med äldre. Att det inte återfinns något samband mellan personlighet och attityd mot AI-baserad rekrytering kan grunda sig i att kunskapen inte är tillräckligt utbredd.

Abstract [en]

A recruitment process supported by artificial intelligence can surpass traditional methods according to some studies in predicting an individual’s job performance. Despite the benefits, the population generally holds at negative attitude towards increased implementation of AI. The following research question was formulated: What is the relationship between personality and attitude towards a recruitment process conducted with artificial intelligence? To answer the research question, a questionnaire on personality according to Hexaco and the experience of traditional and AI-based recruitment was designed. The results suggest that there is no statistically significant relationship between personality traits and the experience of AI in a recruitment process (N = 105). However, he results indicate that younger individuals have a more positive attitude towards AI compared to older individuals. The lack of a relationship between personality and attitude towards AI-based recruitment may be due to insufficient knowledge being widespread.
