Results: Two themes were presented as main themes in the results: “Verbal and non-verbal communication in healthcare” and “life factors and healthcare” The first main theme was given the sub-theme “lack of language skills and information”,“interpreter management” and behavior of care staff”. The second main theme were given the sub-themes “culture and ethnicity”, “the healthcare system” and “citizenship status”.

Conclusion: There are several obstacles that affect access to safe and safe care.
