Abstract [en]

The mental health of people is a critical component of quality of life. Since people spend a large part of their lives at work, the workplace is an important environment that has an impact on the mental health. Mental well-being is not only important for the overall well-being of employees, but it also boost their productivity and performance. For employers, it is especially important to take care of the mental well-being of the Millennials and Generation Zs workers since they are about to enter the labour market. The purpose of this study is to enhance knowledge aboutthe needs of the next working generation, in order to prevent mental health issues in the future workplace. Sweden and the Netherlands are used as a case study. To fulfil this purpose, a quantitative research of the needs of the next working generation was conducted.
