Bakgrund: Nästan alla barn i Sverige är inskrivna inom Barnhälsovården. BHV-sjuksköterskan har ett stort ansvar att följa barnets utveckling och hälsa. En av specialistsjuksköterskans skyldigheter är att skriva en orosanmälan vid kännedom eller oro om ett barn far illa.

Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva BHV-sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av orosanmälan vid misstanke om barn som far illa.

Metod: Studien är en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade frågor. Elva deltagare från Västra Götalandsregion deltog i studien. Intervjuarna spelades in digitalt och via mobiltelefon. Intervjuerna transkriberades och analyserades enligt kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Resultat: Resultatet visade att BHV-sjuksköterskorna fick stöd i sina kollegor och verksamhetschef. De upplevde det svårt med återkopplingen från socialtjänsten och önskade ett bättre samarbete. BHV-sjuksköterskorna skapade en god relation med familjen och upplevde det ibland svårt att skriva en orosanmälan de ville inte förstöra relationen. Resultatet redovisas i nio huvudkategorier och femton underkategorier.

Slutsats: BHV-sjuksköterskans arbete på BVC är komplext och en ständig övervägning kring relationen till familjen. Dålig återkopplingen från socialtjänsten försvårar sjuksköterskornas eget arbete och de känner sig uteslutna kring arbetet socialtjänsten utför. I processen finns det olika typer av hinder men också stöttande faktorer.

Background: Children Health Care (CHC) nurse reach almost all the children in Sweden. The CHC-nurse have a big responsibility to follow the children’s health and safety at the Child health care center. One of the specialist nurse’s obligations is to write a report of concern in the event of knowledge or concern about a child getting maltreated.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe the child health care nurse´s experiences of report a report of concern suspecting a maltreated child.

Method: The study is a quality study with semi structured interviews. Eleven participants from the Västra Götalandsregionen participated in the interview. The interviews were recorded digital and on mobile phone, the interviews were transcribed and analyzed according toqualitative content analysis.

Results: The result showed that the CHC-nurse´s received support from their colleagues and the manager. They found it difficult with the feedback from the social services and wanted better cooperation. The CHC-nurse´s created a good relationship with the family and sometimes found it difficult to write a report of concern, they did not want to ruin the relationship with the family. The results are reported in five main categories and fifteen subcategories.

Conclusion: The CHC-nurses work at BVC is complex and a constant consideration of the relationship with the family. Poor feedback from the social services complicates the nurses own work and they feel excluded from the work the social services perform. In the process, there are different types of obstacles but also supporting factors.
