Abstract [en]
This paper analysis Bitcoin and Ethers impact on Non-fungible tokens over the period 05/03/2021 to 1/5/2022. A relatively new area in the financial market that is under great expansion and change. Previous studies in the field indicate a relationship between the variables in the study, studies mentioned in the article show that Bitcoin and Ether influence NFT. The methodology in the study is based on a VAR framework and a test for Granger causality is performed. The results show that there is a relationship between the variables, through an interpretation of the coefficients in VAR, one could see an indication of a long-term relationship between the variables as a time delay on Ether, Bitcoin and NFT have a weak effect on NFT's index. The Granger causality test also shows that there is a causal relationship, where Bitcoin and Ether cause NFT in the short run. Based on the results of the study compared with previous studies, it is concluded that Ether have a positive impact on the value of NFT.
