Abstract [sv]

Denna utvärderingsstudie av hybrid SD-WAN ämnar att göra en implementation av denna teknologi i en nätverksemulator och utvärdera några viktiga beståndsdelar som implementation, konnektivitet, redundans, hantering av trafik, övervakning och användargränssnittet. Målet för denna utvärdering är att testa grundläggande funktioner för SD-WAN.Utifrån de resultat som samlats in från en komplett implementation av hybrid SD-WAN var slutsatsen att det grafiska gränssnittet förenklade hela konfigurations processen och att implementera ett hybrid SD-WAN i en nätverksemulator är gynnsamt för ett företag som vill testa olika leverantörers SD-WAN lösningar innan de implementerar det på deras nätverk.

Abstract [en]

This evaluation study of hybrid SD-WAN intends to implement this technology in a network emulator and evaluate some key components such as implementation, connectivity, redundancy, traffic management, monitoring and the user interface. The goal for this evaluation is to test basic functions of SD-WAN.Based on the results collected from a complete implementation of a hybrid SD-WAN, the conclusion was that the graphical interface simplified the whole configuration process and implementing a hybrid SD-WAN in a network emulator is favorable for a company that wants to test different vendors SD-WAN solutions before they implement it on their own network.
