Abstract [en]

This research aims to identify some of the benefits of this technology and explore the factors hindering the adoption of blockchain in organizations. A study of previous literature revealed that a lack of knowledge, security, privacy, regulations, and scalability are some of the barriers to adopting the technology. The benefits identified include transparency, speed, security, and increased efficiency. Using the semi-structured interview of the qualitativeresearch methodology, developers from different organizations were the research participants interviewed. The collected data were transcribed and analyzed using themes generated from the analyzed data. The findings in the analyzed data merge most of the data generated in the literature.
