Abstract [sv]

Detta examensarbete har utförts med syfte att effektivisera produktionen på Nouryons EMU-fabrik i Stenungsund. Målet har varit att kartlägga och identifiera rot orsakerna tillicke-värdeskapande tid i produktionen. Arbetet inleddes med en litteraturstudie där relevant teori och information hämtades från böcker, artiklar och hemsidor. Därefter genomfördes en fallstudie som delvis bygger på observationer och ostrukturerade intervjuer, men också på data från Nouryons interna rapporteringssystem OAM-portalen. Arbetet har kunnat konstatera att det är fem kategorier som tillsammans står för 54% av den förlorade produktionstiden i fabriken. Vid analys av dessa framkom det dock att data bör behandlas med viss förbehållsamhet. Det har under arbetsgången kunnat konstateras att 12% av eventen under kategorin Kvalitetsanalys i reaktorsteg två troligtvis är felkategoriserade. Ett förslag till förbättring är att Nouryon kartlägger dessa event vilka möjligen kan göras om till två separata kategorier. Här kan detta projekt ligga till grund för fortsatt utveckling av OAM-portalen.

Abstract [en]

This thesis has been carried out with the purpose of streamlining production at Nouryons EMU factory in Stenungsund. The goal has been to map and identify the root causes to nonvalue-creating time in the production. The work began with a literature study where relevant theory and information was taken from books, articles and websites. Subsequently, a case study was conducted which is partly based on observations and unstructured interviews, but also on data from Nouryons internal reporting system OAM portal. The work has been able to establish that there are five categories that together account for 54% of the lost production time in the factory. An analysis of these revealed, however, that data should be treated with some caution. During the work, it has been established that 12% of the events under the category Quality analysis in reactor stage two are probably incorrectly categorized. A suggestion for improvement is for Nouryon to map these events, which can possibly be turned into two separate categories. Here, this project can form the basis forfurther development of the OAM portal.
