Cynap Pure är en konferensutrustning som låter enheter casta genom AirPlay, Chromecast och Miracast. Ett företag använder utrustningen i ett flertal konferensrum. I rummen är enheterna anslutna till två separata Wi-Fi. Detta över två interface på Cynap, LAN-interface och WLAN-interface. Utrustningen fungerar inte som den är tänkt. Det blir inkonsekventa resultat beroende på vilken Cynap man castar till och beroende på vilken klient man castar ifrån. En felsökning gjordes på företaget för att försöka komma fram till en slutsats och en lösning på problemet. Loggar var krypterade och Wi-Fi kommunikationen är en inhyrd tjänst från ISP, därav blev felsökningen begränsad. Testerna utförda på Cynap i olika konferensrum får ej samma utfall. Cynap fungerar som tänkt vid endast LAN-anslutning och infrastructure mode är satt till off.

In the rooms the units are connected to two separate Wi-Fi. This over two interfaces on Cynap, one LAN-interface and one WLAN-interface. The equipment does not work as intended. There will be inconsistent results depending on which Cynap you are casting to and depending on from which client you are casting from. A troubleshooting was done at the company to try to come to a solution for the problem. Logs were encrypted and Wi-Fi communications equipment are rented from an ISP, hence the troubleshooting was limited. The tests performed at Cynap in different conference rooms do not get the same result. Cynap works as intended with only LAN connection and infrastructure mode is set to off.
