Daily Life Dialogue Asessment in psychiatric care (DLDA) : Implementing of an customized version for municipal organization for psychiatric disabilities (English)
Abstract [en]

Background : People who suffers from psychiatric disability can be in need of support in their daily life. For personal in the municipal organization the everyday support is central. Evidence based methods and other tools has been a way of working in welfare organizations, but it has been criticized for not working in the field of psychiatric disability. DLDA was implemented in a municipal organization 2015. In 2018 a pilot study showed that the idea of DLDA was good, but not adapted to the group and therefore using the tool was no longer consistent. For this study an adapted form of DLDA have been designed from suggestions from personal.

Aim: Describe caring personals experience of an adapted version of DLDA, and its presumption for implementation.

Method: The method was semi-structured focus group with manifest content analysis.

Results: appeared in the three categories: An appealing layout and easy-to-understand content with the subcatergories Smiley as a rating scale, The design of the questions and Information-giving cover pages and the opportunity to note. A more flexible tool with the subcatergories "Tools" by person - enabling working methods, To ask sensitive questions. Factors of crucial importance to the implementation process. Need for routines and manual, Collegial and experience-based learning and Theory and empirical a voltage field through one-way communication.

Conclusion: personal in the study find DLDA to be useful but must be allowed to take time for implementing DLDA. Further research is needed to see how people with mental disabilities experience DLDA.
