Abstract [en]

Organization X is embracing sustainability and electrification in its products. This requires acquiring new skills and fostering diversity within the company to create an inclusive culture. The engineering profession faces challenges in retaining female workers despite more women graduating in the field, often partially due to a non-inclusive work culture. To address this, Organization X has introduced a mandatory four-hour workshop for all employees worldwide, aiming to achieve their goal of having 35% female employees by 2030. This qualitative study examined the perceived impact of these Inclusive Culture Workshops on female employees. Key reuslts highlight the importance of strategic workshop implementation and diversity in establishing psychological safety for women in amale-dominated company. The study emphasizes the ongoing need for extensive work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) to make a significant difference for employees.
