Abstract [en]

Purpose - The purpose of the Research is to examine leadership, the extent to which different leadership styles can impact on business performance.

Methodology/approach - A qualitative research, with a focus on descriptive case study type were used to investigate the study. Here primary data was collected by semi-structured interview in four different organizations. Four organizations were used for the study and data was analyse through thematic analysis with themes been used which were guided by the theories used in the study.

Findings -Results: The researchers have gathered adequate evidence and established that there is an active link between leadership styles and organizational performance. Leadership influences business performance and its capability contribute to the growth and as the critical determinant of the company's success.

 Research limitations - limitation of the study is the ability to make use of all the available data collected to analyze the research detail to bring out other issues as a result of time constraints. Implications-: The researchers further discovered that the use and the application of two or more leadership styles in an organization could be called an integrated approach to leadership styles, which can influence performance.
